Independence Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. It's filled with memories of going to the lake and swimming, watching fireworks, and spending time with my family. Since I starting working at ActivEd, I've learned why my memories of the holiday are so strong. The constant physical activity literally made it easier for those memories to be set in my mind. 

As an adult, I cherish memories of those who are no longer with us, and I still feel close to family members I am separated from by distance.
